Beirut Blast Children’s Day
by Brady Black
Expression session for children traumatized by the Beirut Blast Working with multiple NGOs to provide care for children from the neighborhoods most affected by the blast, we invited the children to express themselves on two 4 meter canvases. They “Art Attacked” the canvases with paint, paint squirt guns, and even their hands. Then I painted the children’s portraits who painted the canvases on top of their work, and the pieces were displayed publicly with information about how children were affected by the explosion.
