Brief: The Client wanted a mural representing hope for Beirut after the Beirut Blast. The Verdun school mural represents a rebuilding of Beirut not only after the horrible Beirut Blast but also the even more devastating economic disaster. Consideration was taken to make the image not directly represent the blast as the children painting it would have had their houses and family damaged or injured by the blast itself.
